Grenada hiking and Nature Tour.
Pure Grenada has so much nature to explore and discover especially in the rural parishes, both in rainy/wet and dry seasons. We begin the “Hiking and Nature Tour” by starting the day at the Annandale Waterfall, just a short 15-minute drive away from St. George’s.
Guests get to walk through the lush gardens overflowing with local flowers, plants, and trees before arriving at the refreshing waterfall for a cool dip in the waters and enjoy the show of watching jumpers plunge into the pools. Guests ease into the day of hiking with walking on paved roads to this waterfall.
Next, we drive through the island’s rainforest, Grand Etang Lake and Forest Reserve, to go to one of the island’s most beautiful falls, Seven Sisters Waterfall.
The hike to the first set of waterfalls is approximately 1.3 miles and old shoes are recommended if trekking during rainy/wet season. The difficulty of this bamboo covered hike is low to medium and is guided with local hiking experts.
Guests can traverse to the lesser traveled waterfalls and jump their way down to the base two waterfalls or take in the beauty of the last two waterfalls and enjoy a dip in the pebbled river and pools. After this hike, it is time to soak the muscles in the Clabony Sulfur Springs, located in Mirabeau, St. Andrew, just a short drive away.
Depending on the time of the year, guests can either hike through unpaved jungle roads to the sulfur springs or drive to base before the springs. Sulfur hot springs are well renowned for their natural benefits to the skin so make sure to stir the bottom of the pools to maximize your sulfur filled soak.
If hiking is your pleasure, we can create multiple alternative hikes, ranging from low to medium to hard difficulty, so you can uncover some of the best agro-tourism experiences on the island.
